Elopements or Legals Only WEDDING Ceremony

Don’t want the fuss of a big wedding!!!

These are options for those who don’t want the fuss of organising large weddings or don’t want to offend family and friends that you can’t (or don’t want to) invite.

• The legal documents are still required.

• The legal wording (The Monitum) is also required as per the Marriage Act 1961.

I provide some suggestions for an Elopement Ceremony, which includes sample introductions, sample vows, sample ring exchange and the choice of one reading.

The choice will be yours to make it pesonalised, however it will be a shorter ceremony.

Should you choose a Legals Only Ceremony, I draft an introduction and state the legal wording (The Monitum), short vows and ring ceremony, if you exchange rings.

You will need

• Yourself

• Your partner and

• Two witnesses over the age of 18 years.

It is your choice if you invite anyone else however, my services for this type of ceremony do not include the use of a PA system.

The Certificate of Marriage and Marriage Register will be signed by both of you on the day, along with your witnesses and you will be provided with your presentation certificate.

As your Celebrant, I will forward the paperwork to register your marriage with Births, Deaths & Marriages.
